Why This Recipe Works

Instructions

Toast the cumin seeds in a small saucepan over medium heat until they are fragrant and darkened slightly, about 2 minutes.

Whisk in the larger portion of olive oil, oregano, garlic, orange zest, and red pepper flakes. Cook over medium-low heat until the garlic is just beginning to sizzle, about 3 minutes.

Combine the cubed feta and chopped olives in a medium bowl. Pour the warm oil mixture over the cheese and olives and stir gently to coat, being careful not to break the cubes.
